I am feeling Awed by the number of pink Flowering Types and so far unable to identify the one i had,I grow a few different types like the tall yellow which is very vigorous and a pest in the tropics...It is great to have them around,for their foliage contrast and long flowering,adding some cheer...The Sufis say the flowers and Birds,were given to make us happy..People today avoid plants that are untidy and die back:much static,sterile planting...WE NEED TO GROW MORE FLOWERS as insect populations decline and they are essential for life..Sadly plant diversity is not evident in nurseries,but i will-bat on- for cannas...

Hi Jim, sound like it may have been the Canna Annei hybrid, what size was the flower, here's hoping you can track it down again, regards Raelene
